Venetian Shores in Islamorada and Key Colony Beach in Marathon are top choices for serious boaters -- deep canals, quick ocean access, and minimal bridge restrictions. Summerland Cove in the Lower Keys is also excellent for larger vessels with deep-water Kemp Channel access.
